About Rally Point

An evening where Colorado's business leaders come together to support veterans in transition and help prevent veteran suicide

Rally Point brings together Colorado's business community to support veterans in transition and address the crisis of veteran suicide. Corporate sponsors fund the event, and 100% of net proceeds go directly to Colorado veteran nonprofits.

This is not a gala. It's an evening where 150+ executives hear directly from the leaders doing the work in behavioral health, housing, post-traumatic growth and community reintegration, and leave with a clear understanding of what their organizations can do to help.

It takes place on Friday, November 13, two days after Veterans Day, so a week of thanks ends with action that lasts past the parade.

Why it matters

17.5
veterans lost to suicide every day in 2023. 6,398 lives in a single year.

Transition is where the support network changes fastest

Colorado's veteran suicide rate is 48.4 per 100,000, the eighth highest in the nation and well above the national veteran rate of 35.2. In 2023 that was 178 Colorado veterans. On a single night in January 2024, 978 Colorado veterans were experiencing homelessness.

Those numbers do not move because of one program or one agency. They move when the people around a veteran notice and act.

After separation, those people are increasingly coworkers, managers and hiring teams. The structure that came with the uniform is replaced by a civilian one: a new job, a new chain of command, a new definition of a good day at work. Employers sit in the middle of that change whether they plan to or not.

Behavioral healthAccess to care and the people who notice when it's needed
Housing solutionsStability during the move from service to civilian life
Post-traumatic growthPurpose, community and a path forward
Community reintegrationEmployers, peers and neighbors who show up
